Right now, our student body is made up of about 55 students in grades K4-12th.
Our mission is to assist parents with the education of their children, emphasizing a Biblical worldview and solid academics, in order to prepare our students for college and Christ-like living. The Bible is our reference point for learning and the development of character.
Our faculty and staff are all members of Calvary Baptist Church. Over the years, the Lord has provided a gifted and equipped group of people to meet the educational needs of CBA. We are grateful for them and appreciate their willingness to serve the younger generation our school represents. Our teachers demonstrate regularly that their teaching is ministry-oriented. They work hard at making their classrooms challenging, meaningful, and even enjoyable!
CBA teachers and staff believe it is vital to start educating children with a Biblical focus early on. We provide various tools for incorporating a fun, hands-on, Christian learning method. Young ones are given opportunities to learn through games, lessons, field trips, participation in school plays and weekly chapel services.
Calvary Baptist Academy begins the process of building a strong, complete foundation to support a lifetime of growth and learning in the elementary grades. Students grow in academic skills and achievement, critical thinking, social understanding, and biblical knowledge.
Academics in the Junior High emphasize the building of skills and study habits as well as knowledge of core subject areas. Preparing for the rigors of high school, emphasis is placed daily for successful learning.CBA offers a Christ-centered curriculum, emphasizing a preparation for college. The curriculum is taught from a Biblical worldview and is enriched by a classical emphasis. All that is taught in the classroom, reinforced in athletics and fine arts, is modeled by the faculty in an effort to exemplify relationships with Jesus Christ.
